Practical help in Nørrebro
Nørrebro is one of the most bike-friendly parts of the city, which suits us well. We arrive with the tools on the cargo bike and don’t waste time looking for parking.
HandymanKøbenhavn is part of Better Call Bob, and there are several of us. When you call, it’s often Henrik who picks up. He makes sure you get a fixed appointment and a person who’s right for the job.
What we can help with
- Pictures, TVs and shelves on the walls
- New lamps on existing ceiling outlets
- Furniture assembly and rearranging
- Kitchen fitting, adjusting cabinet doors and replacing damaged units
- Skirting boards and ceiling mouldings
- Sheds, bike racks and small builds in the courtyard
Courtyards and shared spaces
Many buildings in Nørrebro share a courtyard with sheds, benches and bike parking. We help private residents and housing co-ops (andelsforeninger) build and maintain them. The photo at the top is from a job where we built two new tool sheds in a courtyard.
Henrik’s tip: If you’re a housing association, gather several small courtyard jobs into one day. Then you only pay the start fee once.
We cycle, so you save
A bike is cheaper to run than a van, and we get around the city just as fast. That keeps our prices down. It’s better for the air in the neighbourhood, too.
Handyman prices in Nørrebro
We have two fixed rates: 579 DKK an hour for handyman work with ordinary tools and 679 DKK an hour for carpentry with heavier tools. On top of that is a 399 DKK start fee, which covers transport and small materials. All prices include VAT. Read more about what a handyman costs.
